CONDITION: Revolver is about good, no orig. The base plug is dark horn secured with wooden pegs and brass pins. The inside edge is scrimshawed “ANNO” and the back edge scrimshawed “MDCCLIIII”. The sides are beautifully scrimshawed with riders on horseback wearing skirts with long hair and tri-corn hats firing flintlock pistols at each other. The spout is a carved ducks head with ebony eyes. The stock is of nicely figured walnut with raised teardrop side panels, a small shield thumb plate and has small cheek pieces on both sides of the butt.
